Sensitization Program on Social Emotional Skills.

As per the directives of JCRT Ranchi, a five-day workshop on school leadership and sensitization program was concluded today for the principals of 72 model schools at DIET Chiri. This workshop, which commenced on January 29th, ran until February 2nd. On the occasion of its culmination, Principal Abhishek Badhaik inspired the participating 72 principals, emphasizing on the enhancement of leadership skills. He urged them to work in their respective domains, establishing harmony among social, departmental, parental, and student relationships, while embracing challenges.

In his address, he emphasized the need for developing leadership skills in line with the ongoing changes in the education landscape and urged everyone to embrace the challenges of the present context.

Trainers Shyam Bihari Mahato, Lalita Kumari, and Mukesh Bhadani conducted comprehensive training sessions, incorporating various aspects of leadership skills through engaging activities and interesting methods.

Under the auspices of the National Educational Plan and Administration University (NEPA), participants were also provided with handbooks and certificates for their participation in the development of school leadership, which was conducted with due attention to the elements of the National School Leadership Center.

On the final day of training, discussions were held regarding the outline of the school development plan and future prospects. Participants were informed about student trends through the Holland Code method by Abhay Albelia, Program Manager of LGSS, to raise awareness about career choices in the future.

Amidst these programs, the inauguration of the FLN (Foundation Literacy and Numeracy) Resource Room was conducted in collaboration with Principal Abhishek Badhaik and representatives from IPEL (Institute of Professional Excellence and Leadership) – Sushant Pani and Sukhendu Baek.

During his address, DIET and IPEL representative Sushant Pani highlighted the importance of FLN in foundational education.

Piramal Foundation’s Priyanka Kumari was also present at the event.

Today’s program was attended by DIET’s coordinating Principal Amrita Sinha, members Ravi Shankar Kumar, Vijay Baitha, Mahboob Alam, Shyam Bihari Mahato, and Lalita Kumari.
