TLM means Teaching Learning Materials. That material which involves both learning and teaching, which benefits both the teacher and the student. A TLM fair filled with similar materials was organized at the District Education Training Institute, Chiri on 16 October 2023 along with a TLM construction competition among the teachers of NPS in which a total of 35 teachers participated.
Took. FLN Master Trainer Mr. Kabrudin Ansari, Mrs. Anita Aggarwal and Mr. Arun Kumar Das were made the judging panel. The jury took the decision considering the cost, usefulness, attractive design etc. of the reading materials produced and finally the winning participants were honoured.
The main objective of this fair was to create reading materials for FLN and to motivate students to create TM themselves. It has now been proven that children learn only by doing. Therefore, teachers should always inspire children to create something. Self-building, on the one hand, increases their creativity and on the other hand, also helps in their physical and mental development. At the same time they gain self-confidence and also develop sensitivity.
The attendance of teachers was slightly less in this session’s TLM fair. Our plan in the next session is that more and more teachers should be able to participate in it and children should also participate along with the teachers.

During the school visit, every faculty member pays attention to the following points:_
1.Use of FLN kit and availability for children.
2. Activity based learning.
3. Reading through achievement work book and checking of work book by teachers. 4.Action plan for FLN
5. Development in children’s learning.
If we talk about the benefits of school visit, then we find that on one hand, the school children are happy to see the new members and win their hearts with their innocent and attractive activities, while on the other hand, the school teachers also help in the development of the school. They seem to be making every possible effort for this. Activity based teaching is being imparted to the children through FLN kit, due to which their learning level is definitely increasing.
We hope that together we will definitely be able to complete the goal of Nipun Bharat Abhiyan, basic literacy and numeracy by 2026.
